Meet the Team

Don started Urban Gnome Lawn Care & Property Maintenance in 2016 and has worked hard ever since to build his one-man landscaping business into a multi-faceted Lawn Firm. Don worked in a factory for many years before deciding to go out on his own doing what he loves -  being outdoors, getting his hands dirty and working hard. 
When Don is not busy landscaping, he enjoys spending time with his family. In his free time Don enjoys visiting local breweries with his friends. You can also find him cheering on the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, and University of Michigan Football.
Don enjoys what he does for many reasons. He thoroughly enjoys the team-building aspect of running a small company and likes to cultivate a strong working relationship among his employees. He also enjoys building relationships with clients and, of course, creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.
